Gosh ... the Watermark Magazine has been printed! It’s looks absolutely amazing, and all of the hard work has paid off.
It’s been distributed around University and is now available in the Theatre by the Lake, Keswick. The idea of a range of international audiences reading it, reading my work, is just simply fabulous.
It was fandabidozi when I received a text from one of my previous University lecturers saying that she was at Keswick over the weekend and saw the mag. She was saying well done and it looks like a lot of hard work was put into it.
Achieving the production of a publication has not only been a challenge and time consuming, but at the end of the day, it has turned out to be a success.
My ability to work within a team has greatly helped along the way, as well as my communication skills, both coming up with ideas, in addition to listening to others. It has demonstrated a lot of my attributes and has also provided by-lines for articles that I have written. I would most certainly do something like this project again and would encourage others to do so too.
